The Integrity Certificate Program

One promise: your elevator certificate stays current, and you always know where it stands. Seven steps, every year.

60 daysInspection at least 60 days before your certificate expires*
24–72 hrsReport delivered after the inspection
Until issuedWe follow up with the AHJ until your certificate is in hand

*For clients enrolled at least 90 days before expiration.

How it works

  1. 1

    Certificate check

We pull your certificate expiration and last inspection from public records, or confirm them with you, and identify your authority having jurisdiction.

  2. 2

    Pre-inspection survey

Where it fits, a complimentary walk of your equipment that lists likely violations so your elevator company can correct them ahead of time.

  3. 3

    One coordinated date

We set a single date that works for your elevator company and, when needed, your fire alarm and generator vendors. We can refer reliable partners if a vendor is unavailable.

  4. 4

Inspection, at least 60 days early

Annual inspection with Category 1 tests, plus Category 3 or Category 5 tests when due, witnessed by our inspectors.

  5. 5

Report in 24 to 72 hours

Clear, photo-backed findings written for managers and boards, not just inspectors.

  6. 6

    AHJ follow-through

We file with the AHJ, copy you and your elevator company, confirm outstanding fees and keep following up until your certificate is issued.

  7. 7

    Review meeting

We walk your board or ownership through equipment condition and the quality of the maintenance you are paying for.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Integrity Certificate Program?

It is IEI's annual elevator certificate program for Florida properties: certificate check, optional pre-inspection survey, coordinated test date, inspection at least 60 days before expiration, report in 24 to 72 hours, AHJ follow-through until the certificate is issued, and a review meeting.

What do you guarantee?

For clients enrolled at least 90 days before their certificate expires, we guarantee the inspection takes place at least 60 days before expiration and that the report is delivered within 24 to 72 hours.

Can you guarantee my elevator will pass?

No honest inspector can. The result depends on the condition of the equipment. What we do is help you find and fix issues before inspection day and leave enough time to correct anything that is cited.

Never chase your elevator certificate again.

Tell us where your building is. We will confirm your certificate status, plan your inspection at least 60 days ahead and handle the follow-through.
