We work for the building.
Not the contractor.
Independent elevator inspections and consulting for condominium associations, property managers and commercial owners. Your certificate stays current, your building is prepared for inspection day, and you always know where things stand.
- Inspected at least 60 days before your certificate expires
- Reports in 24 to 72 hours, with photos
- AHJ follow-through until your certificate is issued
- Contractor relationships, but no ties
The building pays for the elevator inspection. It should always know when its certificate is coming.
Many inspectors are brought onto a property by the elevator contractor they are inspecting. We built IEI to close the gaps in communication, service and reliability that leave managers chasing reports and certificates.

| What managers tell us | The IEI difference |
|---|---|
| Inspector brought in by the elevator contractor | Hired by and accountable to the building: contractor relationships, but no ties |
| Silence after the inspection | Reports in 24 to 72 hours, and we follow up with the AHJ until the certificate is issued |
| Inspection scheduled too late, certificate lapses | Inspection at least 60 days before expiration |
| Failed inspection, then a paid call-back | Optional pre-inspection survey so issues are fixed before inspection day |
| Juggling elevator, fire alarm and generator vendors | One coordinated date with every vendor |
| Calls that go unanswered | A person who knows your building answers |
