Violation Management

Tracking every open violation, deadline and correction until each one is cleared.

Short answer: Elevator violation management means tracking every cited violation from the inspection report through correction, call-back inspection and AHJ clearance. IEI keeps the list, the 90-day deadlines and the contractor's progress in one place, requests variances when needed, and reports status to you until every item is closed.

What we manage

  • A single open-violation list across all units and buildings
  • Correction proposals from your elevator company, reviewed for fairness
  • 90-day deadlines and variance requests
  • Call-back inspections and AHJ confirmation

Frequently asked questions

What if my elevator company has not fixed cited violations?

Uncorrected violations can lead to fines and keep your certificate from being issued. We follow up with your contractor, document delays and, if necessary, help you request a variance from the AHJ.

Never chase your elevator certificate again.

Tell us where your building is. We will confirm your certificate status, plan your inspection at least 60 days ahead and handle the follow-through.
